Men and Women, this is for you.
Hello Chicago, I’m starting a new photo project about men and women.  I’m looking into how different we really are, if at all.  If you are a man or a woman and i can get to your place via cta you are eligible to be a part of it and i’d love to meet you.  (i’ll bring wine!) Please email me if you’re interested at aJenerator@gmail.com You can see samples of my work...

Controversial Westboro church plans U of C...
snip: … The group is targeting several so-called evils at its March 9 protests in Chicago. Among them, according to the church’s Website: that Theodore Jennings, the founder of the Chicago Theological Seminary, believes Jesus was a homosexual. And at the University of Chicago itself, the group will argue its contention that President Obama is the Antichrist and misinformed students...

SEIU Chimes in on 5th Congressional District Race
It is being reported that the SEIU is buying $250K worth of ads in the Chicago market in support of Rep. Sara Feigenholtz to replace “Rahmbo” Emanuel.  This is in contrast to the AFL-CIO, who has come out in support of John Fritchey. Whoever fights this battle, and the field is crowded, they will have to do it without typical machine tactics… Patrick Fitzgerald strikes again!

I have a list of localized blogs that I think either the Chicago Tribune or Chicago Sun-Times should do, microsites if you will. Below is the list. Please reblog with any other Chicago-specific ideas for blogs that you’d like to see. I’d love to know your ideas: Stand-up and sketch comedy (We have so many...

CTA takes accordion-style buses off the streets...... →
forwhenifeellikesharing: Thanks, Ron Huberman! Let’s see what you put off when you’re the head of CPS! Seriously. This has always been a nightmare of mine. I hate those stupid buses. Brittany and I were on one two weeks ago and I kept waiting to see the back half get left in the middle of Lakeshore Drive. It sucks that Chicago’s public transportation is going to hell. Not like it could...
